Dojo Rules  >
A school is composed of a group of people working together in a common cause, learning.  To make that possible, The
following guidelines are suggested.
  • Arrive on time (preferably arrive 10-15 minutes before class and warm up off the mat so you are ready to
    participate when class starts.  Be in  uniform before class begins.)
  • If you are not participating in the class, don't talk on the side of the mat or otherwise distract the students
    and teachers in class
  • No horseplay.  Be respectful of other students at all times.  Always practice safely.
  • Listen carefully and follow instructions given.  
  • Bow when entering and leaving the dojo and when entering or leaving the mat.  It is polite
  • No shoes on the mat.
  • No food or drink on the mat.
  • At the end of class, help clean the mat.  (Someone's face may be there soon.)  
  • Be courteous to other students
  • Pay fees on time.  If you do not know when they are due or how much you owe, ask at the front desk.
